FOCUS:

The student will determine the meaning of words and phrases including allusions, symbols, figurative and connatative meanings in the modern poetry of T.S. Eliot.

 

  

ACTIVITIES:

1)  Using previous knowledge and notes on how to analyze and paraphrase a poem, students will work with a partner to understand "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock."  

  

 

HOMEWORK:

1) Extra-credit for SAT or ACT test
